In a desperate attempt to get in some photos under the midnight deadline for the day I snapped a few pics of an impromptu Rock Band get together in our living room. Actually I think I came home from hanging out with my sister to Garrett pounding away at the drums in a sultan's robe he found the day before at The Bins for like a dollar, quite proud of himself that he'd figured out how to grab his PBR and take a swill without losing the beat. His friend was slouched down in a chair I found on the side of the road earlier in the week poking away at the plastic guitar.
They eventually talked me into trying to sing along. I tried to sing "Are You Gonna Be My Girl" by Jet which is definitely a screaming kind of song if you wanna hit those high notes. I pulled my throat muscle. No joke. Could barely swallow for 2 days and my voice kept cracking. Stupid Rock Band. And here is the rest of it.

We met up with some new friends and headed over to the Goodwill outlet store also known as "The Bins" in Beaverton. Basically you dig through bins of stuff, collect your treasures and checkout with pay-by-the-pound discounts! I'd heard some crazy stories about people getting in fist fights over electronics and others accidentally grabbing poop filled underwear hidden under top layers of clothing. And to be sure, you should make regular trips to el bano to wash your hands if your a germ-a-phob but I kind of wonder if it's all blown out of proportion on yelp by some sneaky hipsters who just want to scare others away from all the goodies to be found.

I thought this was really cute and mom on the left side of the pic was super embarrassed that I was capturing her kid in the bins saying "oh my gosh, that's going to look so white trash of me". Good times!

And here is the rest of it.

So I decided to do a photo a day. I'm going to start with a month and see where it goes from there. So far I think I've only technically missed 2 days but starting this I was less concerned about taking the pictures than actually putting them on my computer and getting them online in a reasonable timeline. So here's my first attempt, Enjoy!

From a shoot I did for a block party style wedding complete with old-timey trio musicians and gaggles of adorable screaming kids hopped up on sugar and sunshine.
This is one of my favorites with the two older ladies on the porch surveying the mayhem.

And here is the rest of it.
